"Oh Minke, you're so fine
You're so fine you blow my mind, hey Minke,
Hey Minke"
This was a treat to experience, this friendly Minke whale was curios to see who was seeing her and came straight to our boat to have look. Minke's are on the smaller size, are a baleen whales and are as beautiful as a Fin whale (second largest whale) but compacted into a small size body full of cuteness! On my 13 seasons of whale watching tours this was the first and only time a Minke whale had come to check us out, normally they keep their distance and avoid coming too close to the boats. This was probably a once in a lifetime encounter.
