"Tiny Treasure" is my original design of a Pygmy Sperm Whale. It is one of many tiny treasures of the sea...unfortunately very limited information is available on them due to a combination of reasons and most research or knowledge is based on rare sighting or (the worse of all) beached whales that are found either lifeless or barely alive to be able to save

About a year ago I had the opportunity to see a rescued Pygmy Sperm whale from our local waters, it was still a baby and was only able to survive a month even with the best of treatment available with the limited information known of the specie care needs. I was lucky to be allowed to see it, but most people have never even heard of the specie. I have been doing whale watching tours for over a decade in our local waters and I HAD NO IDEA they were found here more less ever heard of any sightings or had encountered one in the wild myself. This tiny treasures are important and I encourage you all to learn more about them...keep the ocean healthy and take care of our environment, we all depend on it!
